Dr. Ravi’s vision and life purpose are to bring the transformative power of mentorship to 100 million people in the world. Dr. Ravishankar Gundlapalli is the Founder and CEO of MentorCloud, an online mentoring platform for enterprises and academic communities to rapidly grow capabilities and performance of people through guided mentorship connections at scale. Dr. Ravi is a globally recognized thought leader on mentoring and learning. Ravi is the author of "The Art of Mentoring," Dr. Ravi is a frequently invited speaker on the topic of mentoring at global conferences that include, Horasis Extraordinary Meeting on the USA, International Mentoring Congress in Spain, Women Economic Forum in Egypt, World Woman Summit in USA, Horasis India Meeting in Switzerland, Delivering Change Forum in India, YPO Innovation Week (Guatemala), World Demographic Forum in Switzerland, Global Diaspora Forum in Washington DC (at the invitation of then US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton), and National Entrepreneur Week in Mexico, Igniting the Genius Within at ISB, India. For his work, Dr. Ravi has been featured in publications such as Huffington Post, Forbes, Harvard Business Review, Forbes India, Knowledge@Wharton, and in multiple podcasts and radio shows in US and India, and also in two books, Dealstorming (by Tim Sanders) and Mark of an Eagle (by David McNally). He also serves on the Advisory Board of The Global Mentor Network, founded by Keith Krach. Prior to founding MentorCloud, Dr. Ravi led supply chain solutions for Boeing 787 Dreamliner, Raytheon and Hitachi Global Storage. Dr. Ravi actively mentors entrepreneurs and professionals globally, and also serves as a mentor at the Founder Institute in Silicon Valley. One experience that inspires Dr. Ravi every day is Srikanth Bolla, a visually challenged student who he has been mentoring since 2008. Under Dr. Ravi’s mentorship, Srikanth graduated from MIT Sloan and is now CEO of Bollant Industries, a fast-growing green products company in India. Ravi has a Ph.D. from the University of Michigan, U.S.A, M.S. from Florida Atlantic University, U.S.A, and B. Tech. from Indian Institute of Technology Madras, Chennai, India. Ravi lives in Silicon Valley, California and enjoys traveling, singing and having serendipitous conversations with new people.
